Day 01: San José
Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría International airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to Presidente Hotel in San José. Located in San José downtown close to the main attractions: National Theater, Plaza de la Cultura, museums and others. The hotel offers casino, bar, restaurant, gym, Jacuzzi and rooms with air conditioning, private bathroom with hot water, cable tv.
Day 02: San José/ Poas Volcano, Grecia and Sarchi
Breakfast. Full day tour to Poas Volcano National Park, Doka coffee plantation, Grecia and Sarchi Ox cart factory: We take the Pan-American Highway towards the city of Alajuela. As we ascend towards the volcano we stop for a brief explanation on our golden bean, coffee, and then continue our trip through fern, flower and strawberry farms. There is a noticeable change in temperature and vegetation, preparing us for the pleasure in the exuberant cloud forest of Poás Volcano. In the Volcano we will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, and hike on a trail to the beautiful Botos Lagoon. We will have time to enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the typical restaurants of the area. Later we will be in the beautiful Grecia. Considered one of the cleanest towns of Latin America, it is home of the only Metal Church in Central America. Our last stop is on Sarchí, known as the Cradle of Costa Rican Artisans because of its fine workshops. Here we will have time to enjoy the artistic work of the local artisans as the famous typical oxcart. You will be able to shop for that special souvenir to take home. Overnight at Presidente Hotel.
Day 03: San José / Arenal Volcano
Breakfast. After breakfast, Tour to Arenal Volcano area: visit to the fascinating souvenirs centers of Sarchí, where the beautiful wood furniture, plates and other forms of folk art are made and sold. Enjoy a typical lunch in a restaurant near the volcano. Then you will visit the hot springs of Tabacón Resort, where you can relax and enjoy the Arenal Volcano view. Taste a delicious buffet dinner at the Resort. Overnight at Arenal. Overnight at Arenal Springs hotel, this hotel offers the perfect combination between relaxation, comfort, and exuberant tropical scenery, as well as the best view of the Arenal Volcano from any vantage point in the premises.
Day 04: Arenal Volcano
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the area and hotel facilities. Overnight at Arenal Springs hotel.
Day 05: Arenal Volcano/ Manuel Antonio Beach
Breakfast. Transfer to Manuel Antonio Beach. Overnight at Playa Espadilla Hotel, located just 150 mts from Manuel Antonio Beach front, and 200 mts away from the main entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park. It offers 16 comfortable rooms fully equipped with air conditioner, cable TV, hot water, safety deposit box and hair dryer.. Services of swimming pool, bar, Restaurant, tennis court, parking lot and biological private trails.
Day 06: Manuel Antonio Beach
Breakfast. Enjoy a sailing tour to observe dolphins and snorkeling in the area. Free afternoon, we recommend you to visit Manuel Antonio National park. Overnight at Playa Espadilla Hotel
Day 07: Manuel Antonio Beach/ San José
Breakfast, Free morning to enjoy the beach. At afternoon, departure to San José. Overnight at Presidente Hotel.
Day 08: San José/ flight back home

Day 02: San José/ Tortuguero
Tour to Tortuguero National Park. Typical breakfast included on the way, visit to a banana plantation. Boat transfer to your lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to Tortuguero town and the small museum of the Caribbean Conservation Corporation. Dinner. Overnight at Evergreen Lodge, it is the ideal location from which to explore the unique and magical area of Tortuguero, surrounded by towering trees and exuberant vegetation and are adorned with tropical designs.
