Day 01: San José Upon your arrival to the International Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Presidente hotel. A four-star, 100-room hotel in the heart of San José downtown, Costa Rica, Presidente hotel is located on the corner of the Central Avenue Pedestrian Boulevard and Seventh Street, just 20 minutes from Costa Rica International Airport (SJO). Guests staying at the Hotel Presidente will be gratified by its ideal location, only a few blocks from the most important cultural and historical land marks in SanJose city: National Theatre, and the Gold Museum, Overnight at Presidente hotel. Day 02: Arenal
After breakfast, Tour to Arenal Volcano area: visit to the fascinating souvenirs centers of Sarchí, where the beautiful wood furniture, plates and other forms of folk art are made and sold. Enjoy a typical lunch in a restaurant near the volcano. Then you will visit the hot springs of Tabacón Resort, where you can relax and enjoy the Arenal Volcano view. Manuel Antonio National park is so popular because of its expensive white sand beaches. The principal habitats are primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove swamps, lagoons and beach vegetation. There is quite a varied fauna with a lot of species of mammals and birds. Overnight at Mimos Hotel, the hotel is conveniently located between the National Park Manuel Antonio and the small fishing town of Quepos. Overnight at Mimos Hotel Day 06: Manuel Antonio / Corcovado National Park Breakfast. Transfer to Palmar Sierpe and boat transportation to Pirate Cove. Lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach. Day 07: Corcovado National Park You have to wake up really early to eat breakfast and be ready to leave for the park before 7:00 a.m. Corcovado National Park is probably the most isolated and beautiful park in the country. You can see all four Costa Rican species of monkeys there. Bring your bird book because there are over 400 species in the area. However, it's not easy spotting them among the dense primary rainforest. Watch your step so you don't get in the way of the army ants. Your guide will show you strange and wonderful trees such as the "Leche de Vaca"(which the Indians used to cure ulcers) and the "Walking Tree" (which actually moves several inches each year). He will explain more or less how this special ecosystem functions, although the greatest experts admit they may knowless than half of the total species that live here. There may be one hundred different types of trees in one hundred meters. At mid day you stop to eat your picnic lunch on a deserted beach or else swim at San Pedrillo waterfall. The 4-5 hour walk is not terribly difficult but be prepared for a lot of ups and downs through the jungle. You will be ready for a shower and a snooze when you return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight at Pirate Cove. Day 08: Corcovado National Park/ Snorkeling in Caño Island After breakfast, tour to Caño Island, Caño Island consists of approximately 200 hectares (500 acres) and lies 15 kilometers offshore. The waters are also filled with treasure. For snorkeling the island is fantastic. The blue water is home to many tropical Pacific reef fish, just a few meters from the white sand beach you will find creatures ranging from angel fish to the occasional small reef shark. This tour lasts all day and includes a pic nic lunch and snorkeling equipment. Dinner. Overnight PirateCove. Day 09: Corcovado National Park/ San José Breakfast. Transfer to San José with the shuttle bus.(Connection in Manuel Antonio Beach) Overnight at PresidenteHotel Day 10: San José / Flight back After breakfast our driver will pick you up and transfer you to theI nternational Airport for your flight back home.
